AutonomyNow – ADAS System (Advanced Driver Assistance System)

The subject of the Project

The subject of the Project is to develop an ADAS System (Advanced Driver Assistance System) dedicated to city buses enabling 1 level of autonomy. The System is designed to recognise and identify incidents in real-time to inform the driver of potential dangers by audio and visual signals.

Project Objective

The Project aims to develop an ADAS System (Advanced Driver Assistance System) enabling intelligent observation of the vehicle’s surroundings based on Neural Networks and Computer Vision. R&D works are related to functionalities like Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection based on camera image analysis and Driver Drowsiness Detection based on driver’s face analysis. The project will deliver a TRL9 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance) System analyzing images from cameras in real time and informing the driver on dangerous situations. The system will detect pedestrians and cyclists around vehicles, as well as driver’s sleepiness.
